Our birthday celebration was a huge success.
A big thank you to all who contributed to a successful MCO 10th birthday celebration: Tim organising the hall; Emily making a splendid birthday cake; Anne and her daughter supplying the decorations; Val submitting the article to the Free Press together with photos taken by Lynda’s husband for the website gallery, and everyone helping to set-up the room, contributing to a friendly community feel.
The programme of the evening was:
1st Movement, Minuet & Trio from the Jupiter Symphony by Mozart; The Snowman Suite by Howard Blake; Flute Dance by F Herold; White Christmas by I Berlin; Extracts from the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky; and Gold & Silver by F Lehar.
The orchestra continues to welcome new players, we now have 29 on our register.
Here’s looking forward to the next 10 years!
