Blenheim Gardens Sunday 5th July at 2pm

The orchestra hasn’t put out a news letter for a long time but now seems to deserve one.

Firstly, I must thank Emily for being our conductor for seven years, creating a lovely friendly and encouraging atmosphere at all our rehearsals.  As Emily stepped down last year, we have been so lucky that James was there ready to bring us forward.

We have been playing some really interesting music arranged especially for us by James.  Orchestra numbers are growing and miraculously we now have four cellos but we are still seeking viola and more violins.  James has ensured we have some good timpani for our excellent percussionist to play and with an extra trumpet and tenor saxophone we now have nineteen members.

We are looking forward to seeing many of our supporters at our annual Concert in Blenheim Gardens on Sunday 5th July at 2pm and hope they enjoy our program.
